Mr Snyder has been a Social Worker in St Paul schools since 2003 and has worked extensively in the past with students with disabilities. Since 2016, he has been working
to support students with attendance issues, as well as mental health challenges at school. Mr Snyder seeks to reach out to parents and families and connect them to resources at school and in the community. He also supports Restorative Practices at Washington and is engaged in mediating peer conflicts whenever possible to improve school climate. Mr Snyder also teaches a class in School Social Work at the University of MN and holds his Clinical License in Social Work (LICSW).

My name is Wijit Xiong. I have been working in SPPS for 19 years. I started out as an EA for ELL in 1999 at Washington then two years later became an Attendance Liaison until 2011. I became a Homeless Liaison with Project REACH for 6 years then came back to work at Washington as a SpEd School Social Worker for 11th-12th grades and Level Fed 3 in House 25 in 2017 until now. I graduated with a degree: Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota in fall of 2016.
