Staff Profile

I am an English Language Learner teacher and have been working in SPPS since 2016. I grew up in Saint Paul and graduated from SPPS schools in 2008. After high school I went to the University of Minnesota for my undergraduate degree and Masters of Education. Currently, I work mostly with students who are new to the country and teach English 9, Level 1.5 Literacy and Language, and Level 1.5 Language through Social Studies.

I love building strong communities with my students and love learning from them. I believe being multilingual is a superpower and foster that love in my classroom with all of my students. In my classroom you will see a lot of collaborating, you will hear a lot of languages, and you will feel the learning happening!
