Senior Spotlight: Washington's Brandon Redmon

Despite being new to Washington and SPPS this year, Brandon Redmon has made a lasting impression on his classmates and teachers alike. Described as respectful, personable, mature and driven by counselor Anna Wozniak, Brandon found his passion through the new Operating Engineers Pathway. He learned the fundamentals of operating heavy machinery and enjoyed getting to drive a snow plow this winter. He received multiple job offers in the public sector and will be working a seasonal position with Ramsey County starting immediately. 

“Brandon is a thoughtful student leader who welcomed new students to the pathway, included them, and also called other students out when he knew they weren't doing their best, pushing everyone in the class to do better,” said Jennifer Vigil, program specialist.
