Why Join NHS

  • NHS is a nationally recognized organization that's designed to help you meet your goals to strengthen your college and scholarship applications.
  • NHS supports the other activities you already take part in, but motivates you to take on leadership roles and get involved in your community.

  • Meet monthly with the most positive and fun group of highly motivated students in school!

Acceptance Process for NHS

Students are considered candidates until they complete an application to NHS in the spring and are accepted into the organization by the faculty committee. The committee will review all completed applications to ensure all required areas are complete and accurate to determine admittance. Admitted students become NHS members and are inducted into NHS at a ceremony in the spring.

Students are informed of admittance by the first week of Quarter 4 and will receive an invitation to the induction ceremony in May.
